R.P. SHARED THE FOLLOWING STORY:

Growing up in a tight-knit family in a small town, I’ve always been someone who sees the best in people. It’s a trait that, I’ve discovered, can also make you too trusting. I love connecting with others, learning their stories, sharing mine. When I arrived as a freshman at college, I was eager to form new friendships, immerse myself in new experiences, and grow into my own.

V.M, MALE, 36

I know my story isn’t just about survival. It’s about resilience, strength, and the power of speaking up. It’s a reminder that no one is alone in their pain, that healing is possible, and that everyone’s story deserves to be told.

E.Q. SHARED THE FOLLOWING STORY:

“I am 38 years old, married, and don’t know why I am having difficulty being intimate with my husband. I’m 38 years old and married to a wonderful man. But I’m struggling with something that should be natural and a beautiful aspect of our relationship – our intimacy.”

CJK, 23, SHARES HER STORY:

Hey there, I’m Cari. My journey, my story, is anything but ordinary. I was just a kid when my life turned upside down when my parents were arrested and sent to prison. I was only 11 years old when I entered the foster care system. Unless you’ve lived it, it’s a world that’s tough to understand. Your life stops being your own, your stability is traded for uncertainty, and your innocence, in many cases, gets lost along the way.

J.C. 24, SHARES HER STORY:

I’m J.C., and I’d like to share a crucial chapter of my life. At 23, I was on a fast track to my dream career of becoming an international diplomat. I was fortunate to have received a 12-month fellowship in a foreign country on the
other side. I was thrilled, imagining the richness of culture, the new perspectives I would gain, and the connections I would make. And for the first three months, everything seemed to be going as planned.
